The Celler Buil & Giné was founded in 1996 with the clear idea of innovation: to produce original qualitive and representative wines.
In Xavi Buil, after finishing his studies in Barcelona, he had the clear idea that he would like to be a entrepreneur and to establish his negotiation of the Priorat and to help develop the área in the same way, as his ancestors did.
The kichen and the World of wines are his passions. It is very difficult to find and understand the wines of the región.
The first harvest was in 1997 with the Giné Giné and with only 6,000 bottles. I believe, that the best crop has been in 1998 when 28,000 bottles have been produced. Nowdays, 200,000 bottles are produced.
