WINERY PROFILE: CAN CASALS
The first references regarding the history of our vineyards and our winery were found in 1805, more than 200 years ago.
Thus, learning from the knowledge and experience of so many generations, we have returned to find our essence and recovered our know-how.
We are a young, dynamic, sustainable and ecological winery, and we work every day to produce wines and sparkling wine with an authentic and special spirit.
Like the ones that were done before.
Our wines come entirely from our vineyards. We are in the western border of the Baix Llobregat, in the municipality of Sant Esteve Sesrovires, viticulturally linked to the D.O. Penedès, where we currently have 11 hectares of vineyards.
In front of our winery,the Sierra del Ordal is located, and behind, the imposing massif of Montserrat. A unique enclave to make our wines.
In Can Casals we grow the most traditional grape varieties such as Moscatel and Macabeo, planted more than 80 years ago, but we also have Chardonnay, Moscatel de Frontignan, Sauvignon blanc, Valencià, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon.
